Apocalypse Globes! Critics Hate-Hate-Hate NBC’s Half-Assed Globes Show With the Burning Passion of a 1000 White Hot Suns

NBC tapped professional in-house suck ups Nancy O’Dell and Billy “yes we’re related and equally smug and shallow in our chosen professions” Bush to host the aborted, downsized, writers struck Golden Globes.
Critics were mean.
They said the Globes were misleading.
That NBC were “greedy, incompetent fools” for Globes.
That it was the “most awkward ceremony ever.”
That it had “about as much pizzazz as taking the car for an oil change.”
So if critics hated it this much, those cattle-like viewers at home must have flocked to watch, right? … Right?
Actually, the ratings were terrible too.
What this means: ABC might have to cancel next month’s real awards ceremony Oscars.
If that happens, average Topeka Joe might actually realize that a writers strike is on.
And if that happens, chances are that it still won’t matter to studio heads gleefully enjoying this twice-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have “American Dad” writers offering to clean their windshield at intersections.
